At uni we were asked to create an interactive flash animation and I came up with a character called Sparky and delved into the whole phenomena of the unconscious act of picking up/ acquiring/stealing lighters and pens. If your lighter is nicked (and labeled) File a missing lighter report n see if the person with your lighter fronts up... Hold it to ransom… Negotiate to get it back or just sit back and watch where your lighter adventures too… Who knows your lighter might end up in maybe Egypt, Sydney, Paris, Los Angels or Tokyo and who you’ll meet on the way..

If you are saying to yourself I’m always buying new lighters and my pen jar is always empty then you are the victim of Nifty Lighter Shifters!! Do you ever wonder what happened to your lighter? Find out by downloading label’s put them on your lighters. Then when you give someone a light tell them about the label and that if they end up with the lighter by mistake (of course lol) ask them to go on facebook and log the lighter.. Joining Nifty Lighter Shifters on Facebook/Myspace is the bridge to a website due to go online later this year. On the site there will be a place to track, upload pic’s n clips of a lighters journey… hold lighters to ransom, put up rewards for missing lighters, and find out who your lighter woke up with the next day! Confess in the confessional booth, check out why you might be a victim or an unaware Nifty Lighter Shifter and worse still a person who goes out with the intention to nick lighters!!! Join in group sessions and have one on one counseling or just plain go on voyeuristic journeys whilst tracking your lighter.
